The 118th Military Police Battalion is a unit of the Rhode Island National Guard. It is trained and prepared to perform a variety of missions in war and peace and at home and abroad.

Meritorious Unit Commendation

The 118th has recieved two Meritorious Unit Commendations (one for service in the Philippines during the Second World War and the other for service in Operation Desert Storm) and a Philippine Presidential Unit Citation.

These awards give the 118th the honor of being the most highly decorated unit in the Rhode Island National Guard.
