CANADIAN FORCES BASE COLD LAKE
MEDLEY, ALBERTA
Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake is located in east central Alberta, just 10 miles from the Saskatchewan border, and 185 miles east of Edmonton.
RCAF Station Cold Lake stood up in 1954, and boasts an extraordinary 180km by
65km air weapons range. This is where Canada's fighter pilots learn their craft, and is world
famous for the annual Maple Flag exercise.
CFB Cold Lake is home to
4 Wing, as well as
two of our exchange officers. Our exchange positions consist of a

Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE).
