Introduction
I am a Sapper in the RNZE(Royal New Zealand Engineers).
This site is dedicated to 1 Troop, 1 Field Squadron, 2 Engineer Regiment, based at the Arch Hill base, in Auckland, New Zealand. I enlisted in November 1994 and have thoroughly enjoyed every exercise. Joining the territorial forces has been one of the more rewarding decisions in my life, right up there with engaging my wife. I get to take advantage of opportunities that most people will never experience and furthermore experience them with some of the finest people I have ever met. My time with this unit has helped build my character, self esteem, number of mates, motivation, fitness, and for all these reasons I recommend the territorials to you. AS OF 19th of May 1999 I have taken a years Leave Of Absence to travel and work in the United Kingdom however while I am here in London I may hook up with 101 SQN Royal Engineers who specialise in Explosive Ordinance Disposal. As I seem to be one of the few representatives of New Zealand in Geocities, let alone Pentagon I shall try and provide a bit of info on our beautiful country. If you have any questions about New Zealand at all just post a message in the Guest Book and I promise to answer it the best I can.
