Olaf Skotkonung
Olaf Skotkonung was King of Sweden. He was a Christian. His father, also a viking, was Eric the Victorious. Around the year 1000 he joined forces with Sweyn Forkbeard of Denmark, to war with Norway. They won the war, but Sweyn was the one who took most of the power. Sweyn was Olaf's step father, by a marriage to Olaf's mother Sigrid Storraede. Olaf was born around 995 and died the year 1022.
