of the RSN divers are operational ready, but they are to operate in an environment that
their body is not designed for.
The Naval Diving Unit (NDU) is situated at Sembawang Camp, the northern shore of Singapore.
To be the best, they have to experience the worst. Thus, the Navy puts them through a range of highly specialised training in Singapore and abroad and Drown-proofing and Hell week. The last two are to prepare their minds and bodies for underwater adversities.
