My wife Supriya, is a lawyer who is very sure she would not want to practice Law. She believes there is an immense value in parents being with their children in the early years. With one hyper active child and a baby on the way, that’s presently a full time job. Earlier Supriya did short stints at the HSBC Bank and Escotel, and she now continues her interest in marketing AVON cosmetics.

Our daughter Aparna, is a born party animal and never a day goes by when she doesn’t ask – “Papa, can we go to a party today”? Nearing the age of five, I guess it is that stage when life is nothing but a big party, only to be spoilt by the education that is to follow. Recently, she was forced to begin learning swimming. This required my being near the pool till rather late in the mornings, since my presence had an intimidating effect on her -- she was made to believe that I would throw her in the deep end, if she did not listen to the coach. I believe that intimidation is not the best of tactics, but cannot deny that often times – it works :-).
