Welcome to the 209th MP Company Family Readiness Group Homepage. Our FRG is intended to profide a means to involve our family members in the daily activities of the company and battalion as well as provide information on upcoming events. It also serves to provide a support network during times of deployment. Now is the time to get involved and get to know the members of the company.
The key to the FRG success is the participation of those that the organization exists to serve. We all need your help to ensure that the FRG is providing an environment to serve all of the soldiers and family members of the company. Many of you have been in the military for some time now and are experienced with deployments and the peacetime Army. Some of you may feel that you don't need assistance from the FRG for support during times of deployment but think of the contributions and experience that you can bring to the FRG to make it a more effective organization. We have a lot of young married couples in the company who have this company as their first assignment and with this comes the opportunity to make the FRG a very positive experience that they'll be able to share in their future assignments. Challenge youself to attend at least one meeting a quarter and participate in one function per quarter. Monthly FRG meetinge are held on the third Thursday of each month and upcoming events are scheduled at this time as well as the volunteer force needed to make it a success.
