1/77th Armor Reunion

REUNION 2000

DAY 4
Sunday - July 30, 2000

Sunday morning Business Breakfast takes place at the Leader's Club. Pictured R to L are Bruce Goldsmith, former Scout Pltn Ldr, Chaplain Jim Spiller, Neil Howell former D CO, Ret. Col. Max Pickarts, former BN CO and Jim Reilly, former Communications CPT.

After breakfast, Chaplain Jim Spiller, opens with a devotional and prayer.

It's official, the 1/77th Armor Association, is now a reality. Officers are elected and the future is discussed. What started with Tom Rosser's thoughts of his tank crew, took off and grew into something really special.

A change of command. Retired Col. Max Pickarts, the BN CO of the 1/77th before and after deployment to Vietnam, stands next to the newly elected President of the 1/77th Armor Assoc.,
Jim Eversole.

Now let's eat. Apparently the military can't control the rain, at least for this reunion. Our BBQ picnic at a nearby park rained out, we had it at the hotel. We put it outside on the patio under shelter and like good soldiers we made the best of it and a good time was had by all.
