I just had to put this photo of Kid up....
he has such a terrific head and expression, and exemplifies
that soft, 'melting' Chihuahua expression that we strive for.Kid was awarded an AWARD OF MERIT at the
2005 CCA Spring Rotating National Specialty."Kid" made his debut in the 6-9 month puppy class in Ruston, Louisiana.
He took BEST OF VARIETY for his first two points under
judge Bob Moore and picked up another two points in Florida
going WD, BOW & BOS both days.Upon returning home, the Kidster led Randy Carr around the ring
to take a nice Toy Group 3rd (defeating 157 dogs)
on January 25th at the Alexandria, Louisiana show, after going
Best Of Variety OVER SPECIALS for a 5 point major,
defeating 15 dogs. Our appreciation to Mr. Rodney Merry
for the BOV win and to Ms. Dorothy Nickles for the
nice group placement.The Kidster finished his championship requirements at the
Dallas Chihuahua Club Specialty on March 19th, going
BEST OF VARIETYover specials for yet another 5 pt. major!
He then was awarded Best Of Variety June 6 at the Calcasieu Kennel Club
and took several nice wins after that.THIS IS HOW IT ALL STARTED...... Kid is my miracle boy at birth (quite a story, really)
being born to my diva, CH. LYNNE'S SWEET EXPRESSION,
who is also the dam of my other Toy Group winner and
nationally ranked boy, CH. LYNNE'S BLACKGOLD.The Kid is the result of a strong prolific tail male line.
Kid's sire, Tejas, after only limited use unfortunately here in the states,
sired approx. 3 champions but was sold to Japan before his potential
could be realized.
His ROM grandsire sired 18 champions so far, and his ROM great-grandsire
sired 20+ champions so far.Kid is exemplary of the consistent phenotype I strive to produce,
with profuse coat and furnishings, the sought after terrierlike fire,
sound correct movement, nice angulation front and rear,
knees 0/0 and 6/6 scissors bite.
He does not know a stranger and was born to be in the show ring!
He has the personality, breed type and style that dreams are made of.Kid is sired by: "TEJAS" CH. STONEHILL OF ALL THE GALL (#1 longcoat both systems in 2001)
