Mom and Dad are Jessica and Rodney Guthrie of Yuma, Arizona. They got married in November 2000 in Newport Beach, Calif, and are looking to get a fourth boxer this summer - a show puppy to start their Calinois Boxer Kennels.
Mom is a reporter and editor at the local newspaper, The Yuma Daily Sun and a weekly paper, The Sun Visitor. She is also establishing her own home-based business, Liberty Editing Solutions. Check out her web site at www.libertyediting.bigstep.com.
Mom is also a member of the Yuma Kennel Club and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She enjoys learning about animals, especially boxer dogs, gardening, reading and desktop publishing. Mom also collects Boxer figurines - she has more than 100 now!
Dad is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and serves as an air traffic controller. He enjoys playing softball, watching TV and laughing at his wife and furkids.
Both Mom and Dad spend lots of time taking Slade, Raven and Marble for walks (yes, all three together - no pulling allowed), rides in the car and playing with them.
