 Hi! My name is Miss Kitty.  I am about 6 years old and newly adopted by my new family last fall. I used to live with a really nice family but something happened and they couldn't keep me anymore. I was put up for adoption and some nice people took me home but things just didn't work out. That's where my new Mom comes in. She was on a business trip in Killeen Texas when she found out about me. She feel in love with me and took me home with her for her daughter Kristel. She even had to buy me a plane ticket so I could fly back to Tacoma, Washington with her. I now live in this really cool old 1937 farm house.
It took me a while to adjust to my new home. I lived in Kristel's room for over two months without coming out. I didn't even eat for the first few weeks. Everyone got really worried about me but once Mom started force feeding me I decided that cat food tasted pretty good. I now have a problem leaving the food dish!
 Mom and Dad went out a few weeks ago and brought back another new friend for me. They adopted him from the Puyallup Animal Rescue. His name is Butterscotch but everyone has nicknamed him Scotchie. He came from home that had fourteen other cats. His owner had a stroke and couldn't keep him anymore. So Scotchie had to find a new home. He is still trying to get used to all of us but I think he is starting like it here.
Now that I have all these new friends I am not so sure I like them. I think I liked it better when it was just me. Scotchie is always chasing me around the house and loves to tease me. Rajah is almost as bad! I do not like to play with my friends! I want to be left alone and do as please!

Several months after I moved to Tacoma , Mom had to take another business trip to Texas. You won't believe this but she brought me home a new friend. He is a Bengal cat (that's a breed that started from an Asian Leopard). Mom named him Rajah. He is a really busy guy. I like to just sleep on the sofa but he likes to be busy. Some of his most favorite pass times are playing in water and hunting for bugs. You can visit him at Rajah's Den.
