SIBERIAN HUSKY
Buddy,
my Siberian Husky was last seen in my backyard on August 11, 2002. He is
male, eighteen months old and weighs about 60 pounds. Buddy is red and
white with one blue and one hazel eye. He was wearing a black nylon
collar, but all the tags were cut off and left on my property, so I know he was
stolen. Buddy has one visible testicle. He is very friendly and is a
joy to be around. I have reason to believe he may have been stolen by
someone that could be very abusive to him, so please, if you see Buddy, please

My granddaughter's very friendly pit bull turned up missing on July 21, 2002
from 200 South Maplewood in Rantoul. He is a male pit bull, brown
with some white bridle and very friendly. He is not a fighter or a biter.
He was only wearing a flea collar. The children just recently lost their
great-grandmother, and are devestated over loosing their

Alex is a male,

Phoebe,
our female, eight year old dog was lost in the Wicker Park area (Damen/North/Division)
on June 25, 2002. She is about 35 to 40 pounds and has a thick brindle
coat with mostly dark and light gray markings mixed with tan. Phoebe is
lighter gray around the muzzle. She has a red webbed nylon collar with no
tags. She is very friendly and will come if her name is called. The
hair on the back of Phoebe's neck will stand up if she is freightened.

Dexter, my 8 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer was lost in Tinley Park
around 162nd Place near 76th Avenue. He was scared by fireworks and jumped
the fence. Dexter is mostly white with small brown spots and his head is
brown with a white strip down the middle going down both sides of his
nose. He had no tags or collar at the time he got out. Reward.

Lad
is a neutered, collie/huskie mix. He is 8 years old and weighs 75 pounds.
His colors are brown, white, and black, and his coat has the husky undercoat
which easily gets matted. Lad has white "socks" on all four legs. He
got scared during a thunderstorm June 4, 2002, and ran away from our West

Tessa,
our female Irish Wolfhound has been missing since May 25, 2002 from Maple
Park. She is big and grey and is two years old. Tessa is not spayed
and had on a hunter green collar with glow-in-the-dark moons, two Maple Park
ID's and rabies tag. She has a umbilical cord hernia and a blind spot in
her right eye. Tessa also has a in jury to her toe on the back paw.

BLACK SHEPHERD - BUCKHEAD
I'm heartsick at the loss of Harley. She is a 3-4 year old female
black shepherd. Harley was missing at 10 am on May 5th 2002. She was
out in the fenced back yard of a house on West Dickens in Buckhead.
Harley weighs approximately 105 pounds and is black with tan boots. She's
not a bulky shepherd but very dainty. She stands about 2 feet high.
She'll act defensive but is very skittish. She is spayed. I will pay

On April 26, 2002 we lost our Beagle/Golden Retriever/Chow mix dog named
Pete. Pete is a neutered male and is 6 1/2 years old. He is light
red, is the size of a tall Beagle and has a black splotch on his tongue.
Pete was wearing a purple collar. He is very fast and can jump very

Tammy, our female sheltie was last seen in Crystal
Lake on March 30, 2002. She is sable (brown, tan and white) with a white
stripe forehead to nose. Tammy is about 30 pounds and 16 inches at her
shoulder. She is very timid with men especially. Tammy is spayed and
shots are up to date. She was last seen in the area of Pingree Road by
the railroad tracks in between Route 14 (Northwest Highway) and Crystal Lake
Avenue. She was being cared for while we were out of town and ran

CHIHUAHUA - INTERSTATE 294/80
Sheba
is a 11 year old, 10 pound, smooth coat Chihuahua. she is dark chocolate
with light fawn markings. She was lost on September 24, 2001 at the
Lincoln Oasis on the north side of Interstate 294/80, just west of Interstate
94. There is a wooded area adjacent to the Oasis and she was last seen in
the woods around 2 to 4 pm. Sheba was wearing a black nylon collar and a
black harness. The transport company said that she slipped out the harness
and ran into the woods. Sheba is a puppymill rescue dog that was on her
way to her first forever home. She has a heart murmur and a grade 3
knee. She has the beginnings of old age cataracts. She is skittish
of strangers. There is a $500 reward for the safe return of Sheba.

Zoey is a all black female chow about 11 years old. She was last seen August 12,
2001 on 69th and Bennett Avenue in the Jackson Park Highlands in Chicago. She is not an outside dog and
accidentally got out without anybody noticing. When we came back a few hours later and she was not in the house
we realized that she was gone. We only found one person who saw her sniffing around near our house.
Zoey was only wearing either a red or blue collar and had two worn out ribbons around her neck.

Malibu, a 5 year old female Lab/Husky/Shep Mix weighing 40 pounds was last seen on Ashley Road in Morris (Grundy County) near the intersection of

Malibu is long haired and mostly black, with white on chest, face and paws.

My home on Birchwood Avenue in Wilmette was broken into in the evening of 5/26/01; dog and possibly
a large knife were the only things missing! Dog may have been taken by person very angry with me and therefore tags may have been removed and Baily was released far from home or

Nosey, a 9 year old male beagle, poodle, pug weighing 25 pounds was last seen on
Normandy Street in Mokena (Will County) near the intersection of Franciss and
Wolf on June 12, 2001. Nosey has no tags because he wouldn't keep them on.
He's black with a gray beard. He is a friendly dog and likes kids. Nosey sometimes can open the gate of the fence if he pushes from the bottom.

SHIH-TZU - MOUNT CARMEL
Gizmo is our 8 year old male, neutered Shih Tzu. He is white & brown with a small amount of black and weighs approximately 20 pounds. He has a bad underbite and a red growth on one of his back legs which you
have to look through the hair to find. He is either lost or was
mistakenly taken by someone thinking he was a stray as he was not wearing his collar at the time. He disappeared between the hours of
12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2001. His home is in rural north part of Mt. Carmel, IL on the road known locally as "River Road".
He liked to hang out by the side of the road and watch traffic go by. He is terribly afraid of thunderstorms. He is our lifelong family pet

Female Black Labrador Retriever was lost on March 4, 2001 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in rural Grafton, Illinois. Her name is
Brittany. Britt was spayed approximately three weeks earlier, therefore her stomach is basically bare.
She is one year old; weighs approximately

desperately needs his arthritis medicine and his family is heartbroken. Please call

PEK-A-POO - CRYSTAL LAKE
My female pek-a-poo has been missing since February
13, 2001. She has long black curly hair with tan eyebrows, muzzle,
tummy and paws. She ran into the woods after a deer. These woods lead into
Stearns Woods and Veterans Acres acres in Crystal Lake. She was wearing a purple
collar, tags from McHenry County and an address and phone tag. She is microchipped
and weighs only 12 pounds. We miss her very much and are offering a reward for her safe

Our
male black toy poodle, Baby Shadow, has been missing from outside our home on
Charity in Joliet since February 16, 2001. Baby Shadow is a year and a
half old, about 9 inches tall and weighs 5 pounds. He had on a blue collar
with a name tag attached. His right back foot pinky toe dangles.

Steve is a golden brown pit bull. She has a white chest and is about 60
pounds. She is medium to large in size and has been spayed. Steve was wearing a blue collar with
California rabies tags. She was at home on her chain so she might have been
stolen. She was last seen on the Frontage Road of I-55 Between Route 140 in Hamel Illinois and

Max is a small white highland terrier, 12-14 pounds. He was last seen at Lorel and Palmer in Chicago. Compared
to other terriers he is on the small size, very friendly, all white but scruffy looking. Very good natured.
