In August of 1999 I recieved my first edition of the Rat and Mouse Gazette. In it was an advertisement for a cover contest they were having; just send in a picture of your rat and it might win a place on the front or back cover of the January issue! So I sent in a very cute picture of my rat Hamlet (who had died a few months earlier.) In December I talked with the editor of the Rat and Mouse Gazette, and she told me I had won! So here's a picture of Hamlet's 15 minutes (or seconds, really) of fame.
In the magazine also was my story of Hamlet, which is more or less what I wrote on his web page. If you would like me to put the story on here also, please e-mail me about it. If I get enough e-mails about it, I will put his story on here. Thank you for coming here!
