Here is the Peanut Butter I use.
1 c. flour (white or whole wheat)
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
Place peanut butter honey, cinnamon and water in a small pan over medium heat. Stir quickly until peanut butter melts and all ingredients are blended. Put flour into another mixing bowl and slowly fold in the liquid mixture. Mis well and roll out the dough on a floured surface and use cookie cutters to cut cookies from the dough. Reflour as necessary. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 25 minutes. the turn off heat and let the cookies harden (but don't let them burn). Cool completely.
My changes were I roll out very thin and baked for about 15 minutes then pulled them from the oven and took them off of the sheet when they were about half cool. They are much softer. Dogs just love these. I have made PB before but these are the best so far.
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. hot meat juice or broth (I use low-salt beef bouillon
heated in microwave)
1/2 c powdered milk powder
1+ c. grated cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. salt (I omit this)
1-2 eggs, well beaten
1 c cornmeal
1/2 c brewer's yeast with garlic (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 c wheat germ
3-4 c. whole wheat flour
In a large mixing bowl, pour hot broth over oatmeal and margarine. Let
Sit 5 minutes. Add powdered milk, grated cheese, salt, and eggs. Mix well.
Add cornmeal, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, and continue mixing. Add flour
1 cup at a time as needed until makes a stiff dough. Dump out on a
kneading board, knead lightly. Roll out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, and cut
biscuits.
Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. It
helps to turn them over about halfway through baking. AFter 1 hour, turn
off heat and leave biscuits in oven to cool for another 1-2 hours.
You can add more or less egg to make them crunchier or softer. If your dog has a problem with any ingredient, such as the cornmeal, etc., you can probably substitute something else!
I make mine with less flour and only bake for about 30 minutes they come out softer.

1/4 C 12-grain cereal, or another type flour like barley or rice
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. dried organo
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C butter or margarine
1 C plain yogurt
1/4 C chicken, beef or vegetable stock, water or milk
2 tsp molasses
Filling -- you can use 1 tsp of Rollover (beef. turkey or lamb) to put in the middle of each muffin or some leftover meat or instead cheese. If using cheese simply grate 1/4 lb of cheese of your choice, and add to the batter, of using as a filling for individual muffins.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a mini-muffin tin with vegetable oil spray. Blend the dry ingredients in a bowl. Melt butter in microwave or on the stove. Add yogurt, stock (or other liquid) and blend well. Beat in egg and molasses. Add butter mixture to dry ingredients and stir until moistened. Fill muffin tins halfway, then add filling and top with batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes and then cool on wire rack. These should be stored in the refrigerator. They also freeze well. For special occasion, put a dollop of cream cheese on each muffin and top with a dog biscuit. ( makes 24)
