Spring Grove is located off Exit 18 from 91 North to Northampton MA, straight through the lights all the way down Bridge St. You will come to a blinking light and a baseball field on the right, take that right. The cemetery is located on the left down the street a little ways. Florence is a small town connected to Northampton Hampshire Ma.



The Ely Family.



The Ely Family Plot.



Oscar Franklin Ely b. Feb 15, 1852 in Blandford Hampden MA, d. Feb 6, 1918 in Florence Hampshire MA.



Addie or Adaline J. Marks Ely. She is our 1st Cousin 2 TR, she is the daughter of Adoniram Judson Marks 1829-1907 and Hepsibah F. Hinckley 1837-1864. She was b. Nov 17, 1853 Blue Hill Hancock Co Maine and d. Oct 10, 1919 in Florence Hampshire MA.



Now here was a surprise. Albertine is the daughter of Silas Saunders b. abt 1818 and Caroline Hinckley b. 1824. Albertine 1848-1937, she was born in Maine and a first cousin to Addie. This would be her mother's older sister's child. How or why Albertine was here in MA is anyone's good guess!



Here are the dates on her stone.



Elsie is the dau of Oscar and Addie. She is a 2nd Cousin 1 TR.



Roscoe Kent Noble 1880-1945, He is Husband to Elsie. .

He is the son of Oscar and Addie. Charles was b. June 21, 1875 in Chester Hampden MA, d. Jan 12, 1949 in Florence Hampshire MA. He is on the other side of the Ely Plot



She is the wife of Charles, b. 1877-1940. She is the daughter of Edwin Riley and Rosilla Weston of Maine.



She is the daughter of Charles and Ada b. Aug 24, 1905 possibly Florence and d. Jan 1980 in Northampton Hampshire MA. Geneveive is our 3rd Cousin.



Ada's parents Edwin Riley 1847-1933 and Rosa Weston 1851-1920 They are from the Livermore Falls area of Maine.
