The moss has crept in. It was difficult to read. Son of Joseph Morse and Olive White. Anna Aldrich Morse b. 1788-1833. Her Headstone is not easy to read also. Wife of Willard Morse, a descendent of George Aldrich and Katherine Seald. Nancy Morse b. 1788-1839, dau of Joseph and Olive Morse. 5th GAunt. Eunice Morse Buffington 1794-1864, dau of Joseph and Olive Morse. 5th GAunt, Wife of Royal Buffington. Royal Buffington 1791-1877. Husband of Eunice Morse. Waity Morse b. 1800-1885, dau of Joseph and Olive Morse. 5th GAunt. Louisa Morse b. 1810-1873, dau of Joseph and Olive Morse. 5th GAunt. Jason Morse, 1809-1873 son of Willard and Anna Aldrich Morse. 3rd Ggrandparents. Betsey Williams Morse b. 1811-1851. Wife of Jason Morse, she is a descendent of Roger Williams discoverer of Rhode Island. Her headstone has deteriorated terribly. Silas Morse b. 1813-1890. Son of Willard Morse and Anna Aldrich Morse. His wife Sarah Sikes b. 1808-1889. 4th GUncle. Ransom Morse b. 1844-1906 and his wife Ella Stafford Morse b. 1850-1904. He is the son of Jason Morse and Betsy Williams. 3rd Great Uncle. Merrick Amos Morse, Son of Silas Morse and Sarah Sikes. His wife Isabella Upham Morse. Merrick Amos Morse was elected in 1899 and reelected in 1900 to the State Legislature. He served as State Senator in 1901 & 1902. 1st Cousin 4tr. He and his wife are buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belchetown MA. Please go to Mt. Hope Cemetery.
