Yoyo
A Rottweiler mix (formerly known as Rottie) was chained up near another dog. The owner was intent on starving these two dogs. When asked why he let the dogs starve he said he did not have the money to feed them. He acted like it was no big deal that Yoyo was starving and the other one was dead. What kind of person could go on about their daily life knowing that two dogs were starving to death in their yard? When yoyo was rescued the other dog
was laying dead beside her. Yoyo was so desperate when rescued she tried to reach a pile of GLASS to eat it. The owner has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty, but so far has evaded arrest.
Yoyo spent about a
week at the vets and was on antibiotics for ten
days. She only weighed 31 lbs. She should have been between 50-65 lbs or more. Her owner was cited into
court but failed to show up. A warrant has been
issued for his arrest but he can't be found. He was
charged with two counts of animal abuse. One for
Yoyo and one for the dog that died.
Yoyo weighs about 50 pounds now and is a real
beauty. She looks and acts much more like a Rottweiler now. She is very trainable. She learned to sit in just a couple of minutes. This is high energy
dog.
Yoyo on rescue day.
Yoyo
now.
