Welcome to our Reef Tank Page....we will be updating this page regularly, so please continue to check back in to see what is new.
This picture above is of our 40 Gallon Reef tank, this was the first tank that we started. This tank is a custom plexiglass tank. We are runnning only minimal lighting on this tank, but have noticed that it luminates as if it has an amazing amount of light. It has a built in wet/dry system located on the back as a backpack style. This system is about 2 years old curently.
This picture is of one of the peices of coral currently in the 40 gallon tank.
This is a goniapora or "cup coral" it is given the name because they are typically found with a "cup" like shape. This is a very nice peice to have because the "flowers" sway with the movement of the current.
Here is another piece featured in our 40 gallon tank.....
This is a "baby" Devil's hand leather. When we acquired this finger from the devils' hand of a friend of ours named Mike (Who's link is available below)it was very little. These can become a rather large coral and a very beautiful piece.
This coral is called frogspawn.....
These can come in many different color variations. This one featured here is probably the most common one seen red with green tips.
Here you will see two types of mushrooms.....
On the Left you will see a small blue bumpy mushroom variety, on the Right you will see a red mushroom as well as a small colony of white pulsating xenias.
This is our flower anemone....
This is a nice addition to the tank although the fish are not drawn to it.
When we purchased some of this live rock, this "thing" was growing on it.....
It has since grown about 100% of it's origianl size. We have been told that it is possible to be a part of the anemone family, but we are not really sure. If you come across what the name is please feel free to sign the guest book and let us know.
This is one of our favorite pictures. Its of one of the clowns swimming by the red mushrooms.....
These red mushrooms were one of the first items we added to this tank.
Here is our other clown. These two clowns are never far apart...
The green hairy mushrooms that you can see here used to be just one mushroom that has now seperated into three smaller mushrooms.
This picture is of our seabay clown...
It sure likes to lay on this striped mushroom and hide out in the cave.....
Here is the seabay again hanging out with my favorite fish in the tank, a watchman goby....
The watchman Goby is very teritorial and doesn't like anyone or anything in his space!!!!!
Here is the Watchman Goby alone guarding his post !!!!
The Watchman Goby is a great bottom feeder to have and a blast to watch. It does a great job at cleaning the rocks or sand as well.
This is the last fish to view in this tank its a jennifer fish. This fish is a very aggressive fish, but very pretty !!!!
This is a great looking fish. If you want to have a jennifer fish I would recommend adding it last....
