We are a small family oriented kennel located in Dawson Creek, BC. Our involvement with Siberians began with the purchase of our first dog, Cassidy. We had no idea on the day we picked him up how much our life was going to change in a few short years. Cassidy was really a "dream come true", right from the start he was a joy! Born to be a show dog, I think he taught me what it was all about. To this day, he loves nothing more than to be in that show ring, strutting his stuff. In 1994, we acquired a female, Sheena. She was only in the ring a couple of times, and for as much as Cassidy loved it, she hated it! We bred her to Cassidy in 1996, producing our first litter. Sheena has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but not before spoiling us forever with her sweet, loving temperament. From this litter we kept Abby. She had a short show career, and although she was pointed, held the same attitude as her mother about showing. She has since left us tragically, leaving a hole in our hearts. Our latest addition is Karma, AKA the "wild child". She is a half sister to Cassidy, and made her ring debut in November of 1998. To read about our dogs successes in the conformation ring, click on Show History on our main page. We have only bred one litter in 6 years, the reason for this is we only breed when we are going to keep something for ourselves. We strive to breed to the standard, with the emphasis being on temperament, because without a sound mind, you haven’t got a sound dog. The most important thing to us in placing our puppies, is that they be in loving family homes. This breed thrives on pleasing it’s "people", and will try to do everything it can to do just that. Before deciding to purchase a Siberian, we urge you to read the article "So.....You Want A Siberian Husky". You will find it on the Siberian Husky of America homepage at www.shca.org, it is worthwhile reading.
