Scarlet Saves Her Family by Jane Martin & J.C. Suares

Wow! I've always wondered why Mom keeps buying all those books! And now I know. Mom and I sat down and read that book from Aunt Lilka, Scarlet Saves Her Family. It was so-o-o-o-o good! Mom and I both boo-hooed through the whole thing. Scarlett is the bravest kitty I've ever heard of. She ran into a burning building five times to save each one of her five baby kitties! If there are any cat lovers out there who haven't read it, then you've just got to. you will love it!! I can't wait to go through Mom's book shelves and find another good book to read. I'm hooked on books!!

How to Get Your Cat To Do What You Want by Warren and Fay Eckstein

I haven't been doing my book reviews lately, so cousin Tiny made a few careful selections from Aunt Lilka's books. After going to all that effort, how could I let cousin tiny down? I've decided to take time out of my busy schedule to catch up with my reading and here is my latest review. This is the book that cousin Tiny threw in the litter box, and you know what? He was right! Should have buried it a little deeper, cousin Tiny! This book is just page after page of instructions for humans to make cats eat what the're given, come when they're called, even do tricks. It's a handbook for cruelty to kitties, that's what it is! Okay, maybe some kitties need a little help. Biting your Mom or not using the litterbox just causes no end of trouble, but this book goes too far. If you want a pet that comes when it's called and does tricks, get a dog. G-r-r-r-r-r-r-r.....His-s-s-s-s-s-s-s!!!!! Let your cat be a cat!
