While it is true that Kansas and Missouri are prime puppymill country, it is also true that there is abundant land at reasonable prices to be able to create a haven for these dogs. The central location will make transportation easier - because sadly, this area produces more puppies than it can house.

If the membership of NABFA is interested in supporting such an effort, we will be more than happy to take steps to implement this program. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen, with your support.
