Pledge Your Heart Cats

Mariah

Eight-year-old female DSH. Spayed.

I am a very laid-back cat, and I love having a sunny spot to sleep in. I get along with cats and kittens, but I do not like dogs or children. I like to be scratched behind my ears, and I enjoy being brushed. I have arthritis in my back and legs , so I cannot jump, and it hurts me to be petted anywhere but on my head. I would be the perfect cat for a senior. I am not the most photogenic girl, but I am a beautiful cat. Why dont you come see for yourself?

Axel

One-and-a-half-year-old male tabby. Neutered.

I like to be petted by my foster parents, but only at certain times, like when they're still in bed or when they are feeding me in the morning. Other times, I get scared and usually run away. I get along with other cats and with dogs. I like to play with both cats and people. I especially like it when my foster mom plays with me with my feather toy. I would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. I need someone who will be very patient with me. I'd like to be adopted with my friend Patches (pictured on page 2).

Bashful

Two-year-old male DLH. Neutered.

My littermates and I were named after the Seven Dwarfs. All of us have been adopted but my brother Grumpy (pictured below) and me. I am a little shy, but with some patience, I will warm up to you. I love to be scratched on my neck, head, and back, and I "squeak" at my foster parents when I want attention. I like other cats and kittens, but I could be your only cat if you have plenty of time to spend with me. I love to sit in windows and take in the day, while enjoying a cool breeze.

Chloe

One-year-old Siamese mix. Spayed.

I am the proud mother of six kittens who were born in my foster parents' house on April 11th. I saw a specialist for my left eye because my inner eyelid is always closed, and she said that I will not need eye surgery. I do, however, need an eyewash every couple of days because my eye cannot flush itself. I am still learning to trust people, but I am making great progress. I like to be petted, and I will rub against people's legs and purr, asking for more attention. I will let my foster mom pick me up, but I prefer to keep all four paws on the ground. I like the dog at my foster home, a 65 lb. mixed breed, and I like other cats, but I really love kittens.

Ebony

Two-year-old female DLH. Spayed.

My favorite thing to do is lie on the heated blanket on my foster mom's bed. I am no problem at all. I just like to hang around the house. I love other cats, and I enjoy taking naps in the afternoon sun. I am still pretty scared around people, but I am coming out of my shell more and more each day. I will take food out of my foster mom's hand now and let her pet me when I'm feeling safe. I need an adult home with understanding and patient people to love me. I would be a wonderful companion for another cat.

Grumpy

Two-year-old DSH. Neutered.

My littermates and I were named after the Seven Dwarfs. All of us have been adopted except my brother Bashful (pictured above) and me. I get a little shy around new people, but once I get to know you, I love to be loved! I like to be cradled like a baby while having my tummy rubbed; I just purr and purr. I like other cats and kittens, and I would prefer to live in a home with other cats, male or female. I need to go to a quiet adult home, where I can have a window of my own to take in the world. I am a sweet, devoted cat.
