Pledge Your Heart Cats
Malty
Three-year-old male DSH. Neutered.
My foster mom says that I am a real lover! I like to be petted and brushed. I am a bit shy, but when I get to trust you, it's total love, as you can see from the picture. I have a favorite toy mouse that I like to play with, and I get my name from my underside, which is a malty color. I'm really a sweetheart.
Patches
One-and-a-half-year-old male DSH. Neutered.
I had a rough start in life; I was rescued from a rain gutter, where I was dirty, starving, and scared. I love to eat. In fact, my foster family calls me "the little theif" because I will steal food from the kitchen if it's left out. My foster mom says that I have taught her family to tidy up after themselves when they are done in the kitchen, so it's not such a bad thing! I get along with other cats and with dogs. I would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. I need someone who will be very patient and gentle with me. I would love to be adopted with my buddy Axel (pictured on page 1).
Swirly Girl
Two-and-a-half-year-old female tabby. Spayed.
I'm still a little unsure around people, and the perfect place for me would be in a home with patient adults who will give me the time I need to learn to trust. I get along well with other cats, and I would prefer to live with at least one other cat, male or female. I love to play, and my favorite toy is my peacock feather. My foster mom says I have a sparkle in my eye, an excellent temperament, and a sweet personality. I would like to find a loving, permanent home of my own.
Tabatha
Five-year-old female pastel calico. Spayed.
I love to be held and petted by my foster family and anyone else who wants to give me a good scratch behind the ears. I am not shy at all and I like new people. I come when I am called. I don't mind giving up a little nap time for some playtime or affection because I like being with people. While I was a foster mom to several kittens who were rescued by Second Chance, I would do best in a home as the only cat. However, I don't mind being around dogs; I live with three Great Danes right now! I am very affectionate, calm, and quiet. I would make an excellent addition to a family with children over the age of 8.
Scrapper and Bailey
Scrapper is a 12 week old male DSH, and Bailey is a two-year-old spayed female Tortie.
Bailey is an affectionate cat who has adopted Scrapper. She loves kittens, and she seems to think that Scrapper is her baby, so we would like them to be adopted together. Bailey's left eye is somewhat crossed, but she will require no future medical attention for it. She is a lap cat who likes to be brushed. She likes other cats, but she does not like dogs. She likes a calm household, so we would not adopt her to a family with children under 6 years old.
Scrapper is a feisty little kitten who is very curious about the world. He loves to play and be petted. One of his favorite things to do is snuggle with Bailey. Scrapper and Bailey are great cats!
