Jumping

A horses training will begin with going over cavalletti or ground poles to develop rhythm. Cavalletti are low jumps.

Show jumping is the simplest kind of jumping. You must go over fences (jumps) without errors and with a quick time. Horses that go over clean (without errors) are often in a jump off. This is where you go over the same jumps when they are raised. The rider with the fewest errors and quickest time wins.
