The objectives of the St. Catharines and District Kennel and Obedience Club are to:

• encourage and assist breeders whenever possible;
  
• encourage and assist those interested in obedience by recommending training classes and schools and hosting obedience trials;
  
• encourage and assist those interested in conformation shows by conducting sanction matches, handlers' training classes and conformation shows;
  
• encourage and assist those interested in field trial work by taking an active interest in clubs holding field trials;
  
• set a goal which will ultimately benefit all purebred dogs and their betterment and strive toward the culmination of this goal;
  assist in all ways possible those acts involving purebred dogs intended to further and/or protect the property and interests of the country and inhabitants;
  
• further the interests and protect the bylaws of the Canadian Kennel Club.
