So, I guess most people didn't think I'd still be updating this site. It's been over five years since the band has existed but there's a reason for me updating this site. First, there's hostage life and then there's Cancer Bats. both bands feature former members of this band. I don't know if they want the world knowing this, but that's life for them. So while everyone else is getting famous I'll be sitting here waiting for something to happen.

Okay, I was looking over the guest book and was surprised to find that people still signing the damn thing. Anyway, thanks to all those people who took the time out of their busy lives to sign. Sadly, people still can't take a joke (which by the way is the name). Who in there right now would actually believe that we "hate" females? I stress again � the name is a joke. If we really were sexist, would we publicly announce it? I would certain hope not. That would be just mean. There�s a whole political and ethical debate brewing, but I don�t feel like dealing with it so instead I�m just going to gloss over it.

Now for all those "gay" comments that people seem so often of. Obviously, you haven't grown mentally past age five, so I'll speak monosyllabically. NOT COOL. BAD. MEAN (and not to mention just a little homophobic). Don�t you realize, and you would if you had a decent bone in your body, that calling someone gay is nothing more than reinforcing a stereotype that is obviously out of date (not to mention stupid)? It would be like calling someone of a visible minority (you pick which one) a racial slur (again, I leave it to your imagination). That might have been cool when humanity was still burning witches and digging ditches, but in the twenty-first century it just doesn�t cut it.

So, what have we learned today children? Acceptance is good. Prejudice is bad. Ignorance isn�t bliss and we should try reading a book instead of spending hours �surfing� the Internet looking for naked girls (I know that�s why you�re here in the first place). For those of you who don�t meet any of the above idiotic behaviour I�m sorry that you had to read this. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Well, it sure has been a while since I updated this page. So, let's get cracking. As reported before, Mike Long is in Montreal. I hear he's settled down there and is enjoying the lovely Quebec ladies. Paul has recently taken some time off working at Design Infinity to travel around England. I don't know where exactly he's going to, but it sure sounds like fun. Rich is finishing up his final year at university. As for me, ryansenseless, well I doing okay but school is taking way too much of my time.

Now, the real reason that I've posted here is because I recently learned that Eww... You're A Girl was "featured" in an article in the British music magazine Kerrang! Now, by featured I mean that our name was in a side bar in an article about ... And you will know us by the trail of dead. Thanks to Lucy sending us the clipping (and helping me correct the posting). Yes, people Mike Long is moving to the great city of Montreal. We here at Eww... You're a Girl wish him the best and hope that everything works out for him in Quebec. Man, I'd never move there because I can't speak French. Oh well...

Well, it's finally happened. There's a new Degrassi show on television. It's nothing like the original, but then nothing ever will be. I saw the first show and it was cool because it had all of the original cast... even fuckin' Wheels! Snake is a teacher! What's the world coming to? Anyway, if you want to check it out here's the link. I warn you, it's meant to be for young teens, not old shits like us who remember the original.

So, how's everyone doing??? Me, I'm fine. Been working out a little lately so I feel a bit better. As for everyone else... hhhmmm... Paul has been filling in lately on drums for the Moops, Mike Long has been... trying to learn to sleep standing up. So, aside from Paul nobody's been really doing anything. Why do I update with information like this?

okay, so there's nothing to talk about right now. Everyone's still on board for the "reunion" but no one's doing anything about it. Why? becuase we're all a bunch of lazy asses. Nobody as any time... I think. Well I know that that I don't have any time. I assume that the rest of them don't either. Anyways, that's all folks. see ya... oh, there's now a MP3.com site here. ENJOY!

Okay, after a lot of calculations and threats there are plans for an Eww... You're a Girl and Girls Suck final show. I realize that most people don't really care, but for those three or four people that do, it's set to take place in a couple of months. Now, the real kicker is that Rich, the only real drummer we ever had, is going to play along with Paul, Mike Long and Ryan Senseless. But like everything else we've said THIS ISN'T 100% YET. There is still the chance that something horrorable could happen, so don't count your chickens yet. Just keep checking here for more details.

Oh, and isn't it funny that in the last post I said that there was no chance of a final show... things have a wierd way of working out.

I just came by here to remind everyone that Eww... You're a Girl isn't getting back together. Also, that if you want to connect us, the you'll have to e-mail me. Sorry about that. I would as much as you like to see a final show, but there's no way for many reasons. Here are a couple: 1) We still don't have a drummer. 2) We don't talk to each other a lot now. 3) Some of us still have "issues" to work out. 4) We were never really that good and putting on a final show would make too much like a couple of bands that shall remain nameless. 5)... okay, so there's no number five. Shoot me.

Another update of our lives (since I should put something else here, but why would anyone care): Paul is still working at Design Infinity and Next In Line is still practicing, getting ready for their next show. When that will be is anyone's guess. Mike Long is work at a health food store on Bloor St. If you want to visit him at his place of employment, just e-mail me for the exact location. I can't give you a update on Rich 'cause I haven't talked to him in a while. Ryan's enjoying the time off to try and get "stuff" done (or he's been sitting on his ass hoping someone will let him join another band). If we want to jump really far back, Joel is attending college in Hamilton (sp?) for... I can't remember right now. BJ is most likely dead (no one I know still talks to the guy, so I think he's dead).

Yeah, after six great years, Eww... You're A Girl and Girls Suck is throwing the towel. That's right. This is the end - seriously. There was plans for one final show with Rich but things couldn't be worked out (timing, etc.). Thanks for all the support.

So, what are the guys going to do now? Well, Rich has already got his deejaying thing off the ground. Check him out when you're in the Waterloo area. Paul is now working at Design Infinite (that's the place that pressed our EP and Spilled Milk). He's having fun. Mike Long has finished school and is currently looking for a roommate (something happened to his last one. No one really knows what). Ryan is currently enroled at the University of Toronto and realizing that philosophy wasn't the best major to pick.

Musically, you can still see Paul playing drums in Next In Line. They're really good and everyone who was an EYAGAGS! fan should go and see them sometime. You won't be disappionted. Ryan seems to be always hanging around the Moops and the Meligrove Band doing their merch or driving them to somewhere. Dead Letter Dept. (formerly the Stiffs) still have the ability to convince Ryan to do stupid things at their shows. If you miss Ryan's crazy stunts just head out to the Dead Letter Dept. show in Toronto. Mike Long is currently trying to start a emo/grindcore/country/punk rock band. If anyone wants to join just head out to a local Toronto punk rock show and see Mike.

We won't be updating the page unless there something really important to do with a new side project. Thanks and see ya later.
