BMW E39 520i automatic, a 2lt 6 cylinder smooth machine. Very nice ride, great at motorways (and very quiet) but nimble elsewhere!
...a bit thirsty in traffic though...

Mercedes 200/8, 1968 model.
Plenty of space, nice ride but noisy (4 speed only), rusted and dying...a front wheel car, my only so far is a Lada Samara 1,3... ssshhh!
A lot better than expected in road manners and that is why it earned the right to be mentioned here! |

Alfa Romeo Spider, 1990 model (last facelift, last rear wheel drive Alfa), 1567 cc, 109 BHP, 2 double Weber 40 carbs ! This is me in my Alfa Romeo Spider in November 1990.
The car is still new, just a few weeks old, wearing this ugly wheel caps.
Unfortunately in 1999 I managed to drive it on someone coming from the opposite lane and wrecked it... |

Our 318i bought in 1992 is a very good car. Impressed the whole family with the quality of built and ride. (not surprising considering the Beetle and the Spider!)
It got stolen August 2003.... |
