LOCALS
When I'm not
taking pics at contests I'm usually photographing the skimmers in the St.Pete
area. Mostly at Treasure Island, and the Redington and Indian
Rocks Beach areas. Of course they all have their spots, but I have
been forbidden to talk about where they are specificly. Most of the
people I photograph have been skimming in this area almost their whole
lives and have just recently started going to contests. Our skim
isn't too great, usually waist high or smaller; but on our good days we
can get chest high waves right on shore. I usually go out and
take pictures as much as I can, as long as someone gives me a call, I'll
be there.
