This part is just for your information. It refers to the aspect of the sparker and its role. Basically, the sparker is just an instrument to provide a trigger for ignition. So people often wonder how it is that this happends. Well, if words won't work I'll try and provide a drawing fer yah.
The basic principle is that you want to jump a spark in order to lite your propellant. To do this is really simple. You first find some "soft" metal (a large paperclip would do) and electrition's tape (the black one.) Bend the metal wire so that it is around 1/2" - 1" away from the tip of your sparker. Tape the rest of the metal wire to the side of the sparker using the electrition's tape (MAKE SURE THAT IT IS SECURE!!) Now click the sparker and if you've done things right you sould be jumping a spark.
Ok then, there yah go. If yer still clueless check the drawing below and maybe you'll clue in. If yah still have problems
If you want another method of ignition, I strongly reccomend visiting THIS PART of my site. Check it out, its contents are VERY useful.
