There are some rebels some crazy geniuses some clean mad footballers who are secret not only for their opponents but for their fans and teammates as well.Their life is scandalous,they have problems with the coaches and the referees but they are the players who are the spice of the game and because of them the stadiums are full to the brim.You can find many of them in the fottball history-Maradona,Kroif,Vini Jones,Gaza and of course the dagger Hristo Stoitchkov.
He was born on 8.02.1966 in our hometown-Plovdiv.In his brilliant career he was a player of "Maritca"Plovdiv,"Harmanli","C.S.K.A."Sofia,"Barcelona"S pain and "Kashiva reisol"Gapan.
His first football steps are in "Maritca".This is may be the team which gives the most qualitative,young players in Bulgaria.
  After spending some time in Harmanli,he was noticed and attracted by the " bulgarian killer of giants"-"C.S.K.A."For his debut in the bulgarian seria A,helped one unknown tournament in the bulgarian town Pleven in 1984.Then he was only 18 years old but the fans noticed that he was very promising.
  In 1985 in the final for the bulgarian national cup between the biggest bulgarian teams-"C.S.K.A." and "Levski"Sofia-Hristo along with his teammates and opponents made such a mass beating that the bulgarian football organization decided to throw them out of the football.
  The punishment was removed after long conversations and heate d argum ents.
After 1985 Hristo Stoitchkov was the best player in Bulgaria.In 1990 he was the most effective forward in europe with his 38 goals.In the semi-final of cup winners cup championship in 1989 between "C.S.K.A."and"Barcelona"he scored 3 goals. After these matches he was attracted by "Barcelona in the summer of 1990.
His first year was very strange.He scored only 14 goals ,sweared like a trooper and was punished for 2 monts because in one match he steped on the referee.
  The next year the continuation was brilliant.He was the best player of "Barcelona"and the people of Spain loved him.
His best year is 1994 when he is the best player in Europe ,the best player on the world cup finals after Baggio and Romario and the most effective forward on the tournament with his 6 goals.He also took the "golden ball".He took 4th place with the bulgarian national team and was the leader of the greatest team of "Barcelona"for all times.
After these good and calm years his scandalous personality again exploded.Hristo already was international super star so he was more whimsical.His quarrel with Kroif ended with great surprise.In spite of the support from the fans of "Barcelona"he went in Italy to play for "Parma".He was not in good shape but in spite of this he scored some very important and nice goals.
  In 1996 in euro96 in England,he again was the star that he used to be.He plaid only 3 matches but scored in each one of them.He was in the dream team of the tournament.
  After euro96 after his quarrel with the new national coach Bonev he said that he would never be a part of the bulgarian national team again.
Again there were conversations,arguments and punishments.
After all he returned in the bulgarian national team and helped in the most hard matches against Israel and Russia.
In France 98 one tournament which for us was combination of terrible luck and shape,scandals and pitiful spirit Stoitchkov and his glory collapsed.His scandal with Ronaldo before france98 when he got back in "Barcelona" and his arguments with Luis Van Gaal were more minuses for him.
 But after all he ended his career with one splendid match against England in Sofia.The bulgarian people love him.For us he is a legend.The fans of Barcelona all over the world love him too.He is one of the best players for all times in the world.He has many friends and in spite of the past he is good friend with Kroif,Ronaldo,Maradona,Cantona and many others great footballers.
  He has 3 times the bulgarian league cup and 4 times the bulgarian national cup.With about 40 goals in the bulgarian national team from about 75 matches.With many cups from Spain and Europe-spanish national and league cups,champions legue cup and so on...
