Six Flags
New Jersey

Six Flags New Jersey has lots of cool steel coasters but only one wooden coaster. Rolling (blunder) Thunder. The first time we rode Rolling Thunder, we liked it, but Six Flags dose not mantain the ride very well and they do not seem to have plans for building any new wooden coasters. What a shame.

The Great American Screem Machine is a average steel coaster with above average number of loops, cork screws and G force.

Batman the ride is a very cool inverted coaster. Lots of loops and cork screws as well as going into a canyon. It gives you a good sensation of flight.

On board Batman going through one of the many cork screws. The picture got a little blurry. I guess 800 speed film wasn't fast enough for this ride.

The lift hill on Batman the Ride with Batman and Robin in the background.

The linear induction motors on Batman and Robin the Chiller take you to 70 mph in under 4 seconds.

Medusa is Six Flags new coaster. It's the only one of it's kind in the world.

Medusa has no floor. As a matter of fact, it has no frame! Just one steel beam running down the middle. You can see the track flying by right under your feet.
