This is the page that I have set up for my current playlist and for downloading sound files. Below is a list of stuff that I have been listening to a lot lately, some of which has been the soundtrack for the building of this very page that you're staring at right now. I am going to update the playlist every month, putting up new records and sounds files. Everytime I update it I will put up at least 1 RealAudio file of a song from something off my playlist. I will also be keeping a library of all the sound files from previous playlists from thsi point on, so that there will be a number of songs that can be downloaded on this page at any time. For this new playlist, I have put up two files, ABSTAIN and WISIGOTH.

ABSTAIN/AGATHOCLES split 7"
I picked this one up just the other day from a friend of mine and have not stopped listening to it since. Fucking intense in every sense of the word. AGATHOCLES are of course brutal mince core from Belgium that is like having your guts ripped out through your mouth. The thing that really did it for me with this record though was the ABSTAIN material. No fucking around with them, just fast and straight to the point, DISRUPT style shit that always leaves me wanting more.

NAPALM DEATH "hung" CD-single
OK, yeah, it's a CD-single, which sucks, but it's NAPALM DEATH and I got it for 99 cents! Two different versions of the song "hung" (a regular version and a radio edit) both of which are awesome and well worth the hard earned $1 that I spent on this little disc.

NEUROSIS "black" 7"
This was a nice find. A NEUROSIS bootleg that has two previously unreleased songs (an unreleased demo version of "progress" and the song "faith of fraud") as well as a live version of the song "black". the recording quality is excellent on this as well.

NOOTHGRUSH "erode the person" CD
Just what I needed! Slow and punishing self hate core to get me through the day. This CD keeps me going for a long time too cause it has got some new songs that fucking kick ass plus all the previously released NOOTHGRUSH stuff as well, which makes this one of those CD's that lasts forever (it's like over an hours worth of shit on this disc!).

WISIGOTH CD
I loved the 7" that these guys did, and they totally blew my mind live as well. They're so powerful and grinding that it makes my head feel like it is going to explode sometimes. I do not know how to compare this to much of anything, cause I think it has a rather original sound. I guess just grinding mayhem from these wierd Canadians. Several singers, one of which is female but you'd never guess by the way she sounds.
