* How to get there: (From the Street Directory: Map 1) Crestmead is in the Logan shire, beside Browns Plains and Marsden. Look up Gimlet Street, Crestmead in a Street Directory and it is in the "Crestmead Park" beside the community centre. A broom would always be good as there is a lot of dirt around from all the bikes there. There is a water tap and toilets close by and the community centre has food/drink on sale at certain times (I think) but there is not much shade and your own food and drink is recommended. There is not much public transport that I know of that covers the area so if you can find someone with a car, happy skating.

* The park itself is all concrete, built on a slight angle and all obstacles are joined in some way to the rest of the place. Everything is of a medium height but most of it has a really easy/lazy feel to the curves, (especially the half pipe) but with a very large assortment of ramps, banks, quarters, hips, gaps, rails and other stranger things, (remember this park is for Skateboards, roller blades and bmx bikes all rolled into one) there is sure to be something for everyone involved.

There are a few basic pictures of the skate park here for you to see, all when it was very new and still mostly unused.
