Submission Techniques
Submission techniques are among the most elusive, dangerous and powerful techniques available in any martial art.
Submission techniques rely on leverage, positioning and the use of major muscle groups against minor groups to achieve success. The use of brute force is kept to a minimum, strength being used only at the right moments and only in proportions necessary to achieve the desired results.
Submission techniques require above all else patience. For an individual to be a fully competent submissions fighter one must be able to relax, think, breath and execute methodically and relentlessly with the three principles of 1) Control 2) Isolation and 3) Execution.
The following techniques show some of the dynamics involved in Submission Grappling.
