Music :               5 - different bands doing the same sort of music
A.I. :                 4 - 3 years on and the same old AI...
Lifespan :          6 - as big as before
Gameplay :        5 - same as before
Adrenaline :       5 - de ja vu?

Gran Turismo 3 carries on where the other 2 ceased.  So basically this is a prettied up PS2 version of the other 2 games.  See here for my review of GT1 cause it's basically still relevant.

In brief, you get a few more tracks, rally driving and vastly improved graphics.   However the gameplay in both driving and game structure is virtually identical as is all the sounds.  Sure it's new groups doing the music, and supposedly the engines are more realistic, but as they were so good first time about most people wont notice.

So yes it's more of the same, but it does look stunning!  If you truly liked the first to games then you'll love this as the improvements make it seem more realistic.   But if you have had enough already and want crash damage, actual AI for the CPU drivers or new challenges then you probably dont want this game.
