Fun Dive 1999 - Page 1
September 25-26, 1999
Since we had such a great time on Labor Day, a few of us decided
on short notice to throw an impromptu "Fun Dive" at Willow Springs
on September 25-26. In spite of some frantic phone calls, the turnout was small,
but the weather was perfect, and the visibility was the best we've ever seen
in the quarry. Jim Boyd (above left) got first crack at it in his Chinese hardhat
and Matt Brady (above right) took the next turn, as newcomer John Whitlock tended.
John then got his dive in the Chinese rig (below left)
and Dave Hill (below right) dived his favorite SuperLite 17 and Viking drysuit.
JIM BOYD finally got his Viking drysuit patched up for a nice dry dive
using his Ocean Reef Neptune full face mask.
