A Bear in the Woods

AS SATURDAY EVENING was approaching, we heard a noise down on the concrete dock
and discovered a bear pawing through the trash container. He seemed curious
and approached our dive station on the wooden dock.
Apparently the camera and flash surprised him (below).



But he turned out to be rather friendly, especially when he spotted Dave Hill's
grizzley bear sweatshirt (below left). Dave's internet screen name is griz@delanet.com.
The bear apparently realized that he had a kindrid soul (below left)
and responded affectionately to Dave's petting him on the head (below right).



So hat do you do with a curious bear? In our group,
any visitor usually ends up in diving gear.




Of course, like anybody with their first experience in dive gear
we just got him rigged and he had to go potty and headed for the woods.

You do believe this, don't you? It's true!
Would we lie to you?
