Water Hole

Peacock 1
Peacock 1
Peacock 1 has a large cavern with 2 main passages,
the Main line and the Peanut tunnel. This photo
was taken in Feb. 2002.

Water Hole
Water Hole Surface
Water Hole is a short walk from Peacock 1
basin. As you approach the steps to Peacock 1,
the path to the right of the basin will lead
you about 200 ft to Water Hole.

Water Hole
Water Hole
Diving into Water Hole Spring basin,
the cave entrance is on the north
side and the line begins about 15ft
into the passage. This photo was taken
less than 200ft into the cave. It appears
to be plastic sheeting.

Water Hole
Water Hole
Water Hole's passages seemed more pristine
but it is unmistakably Peacock type passages.

Water Hole
Water Hole
There are dustings of silt throughout this
passage.

If you decide to check out Water Hole
coming from Peanut tunnel, be sure and take the
jump around 950ft. The other jump is very small
and silty and not backmount friendly

Water Hole
Water Hole
We waited several years before diving
Water Hole in order to ensure that our
bouyancy skills would be perfect. This
part of the cave has very little damage
and deserves gentle treatment.

Water Hole
Water Hole
Vis was over 100ft in this passage.
