Located at the Bellevue YMCA On Bel-Red Rd. (140th cross street).
The old Bellevue (3rd, 4th, and 5th pictures down) has been "upgraded" to the new and improved Bellevue ("upgraded" in quotes because I prefer the old Bellevue). The 6' spine and bowl has been replaced with a 4' spine between two mini ramps. The launch box is back (after being removed), but it's harder to get a launch off of it. I think that it's a bit too big. There's a flat rail now and a large bulkhead. The wall stall box is gone, and another quarterpipe has been added. The park is more street oriented now, but the pool is gone. You can still rent this place out for $30/hour ($40/hour non-resident).
Pros: Wood (masonite) so it doesn't hurt if you fall, UNDER COVER, a few nice lines, launch box is back, more grindable objects.
Cons: Packed, small, slippery (masonite), a few screws poke out here and there, under cover but NO INSULATION (dress warmly), transitions feel really weird at first, lots of cocky pricks to piss you off. The pool and nice spine are gone as well. Membership ($4 resident, $5 non-resident) required, full pads and helmet required ($1 per set), and $2 per session for locals, $3 per session for non-locals (lie and say you're a local).
My opinion: With the new format, the park is less packed, as the best feature of it is gone. I like some of the runs (some can go, but most are cool), however, and there's always some pretty nice skating going on. Definitely worth a visit, I'd recommend going here once to see the lines (free spectating), then renting the place out for you and your friends ($30 per hour local, $40 per hour non-local).
Bathrooms: Yes (Portapotty outside)
Drinks: Pop/Candy Vending Machine
Landscape: Indoor
Other: BMX Track, Baseball fields, YMCA
Coping: Sticks out nicely, slides nicely, well placed
Jumps: Launch box, spine, 8' vert quarterpipe.
Crowds: One of the few times I'll say it, the skateboarders are cooler than the bladers. A good majority of the bladers are cocky little pricks and the skateboarders actually encourage you.
Specials: Wall rides, 4' spine, nice launch box, indoors.
Directions: Take HWY 520 towards Redmond from I-405. Take the 2nd exit and go right until you get to Bel-Red Rd. Take another right on 144th and the park will be on the lower side of the YMCA building.
