October 10: The last stop on our trip to Oregon and back. This metal skatepark in the middle of hicktown was not all that it was supposed to be. It has an 8' quarterpipe drop in to a nice launch box that has multiple sides. A lousy metal 5' halfpipe with terrible coping is tucked in the corner, as well as a wallride right near-by. A funbox with a double rail is on the other side of the park, as well as a pointless spine and a bunch of picnic tables aurrounding the area.
Drinks: none
Bathrooms: none
Landscape: open
Other: none
Coping: Actually molded into the ramps and painted over, so it's really sticky.
Jumps: A nice launch box in the center, otherwise it's pretty pointless.
Crowds: It's near a college, so it's packed sometimes, when we were there there were a bunch of little kids and skateboarders using the launch box as a bench to sit on, so the locals are kind of clueless (at least when we were there).
Specials: 6' wallride. I actually heard that this was one of the top parks in the northwest, I was actually pretty disappointed.
Directions: From I-90, take the main drag down until you get to 2nd street, take a right, and it's right next to the fire station. If you get lost, ask someone where the fire station is.
