Lakewood is a brand new park just South of Tacoma. It features two bowls, some half-pyramids (one with a gap) against a really fun bulkhead, a large pyramid which gives you a nice kick, a messed up halfpipe that can be transferred into a quarterpipe, and a large roll-in and quarterpipe. Although the pics are of a wet park, I got a chance to go back and I had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the pipsqueeks seem to show up en masse, especially the little scooter kids (got I hate those things because I never see anyone actually doing anything on them). The transfers are numerous about the park and a lot of fun. There's good coping around as well. On a non-packed day, this park kicks ass (except for the halfpipe).
