Port Orchard is fun! It's a metal park with wooden halfpipe. The metal park includes a fun half-pyramid, an awesome hip (think Maple Valley), a grindable channel gap, an unclearable pyramid with whoop-de-doo (I tried, it's too big), and a badly kinked corner drop-in. The halfpipe and some other ramps were contributed by local families (the names are on the ramps), this is a fun park! Some of the pipsqueek punk locals got on my nerves, but most of the other local were pretty cool.
Drinks: Coke machines
Bathrooms: A couple hundred yards away
Landscape: Trees
Other: Baseball, playground, soccer
Coping: Sunk in on halfpipe, channel gap with coping, "curve" ramp has coping, small pyramid has coping.
Jumps: NICE hip, unclearable super-pyramid (Too big), nice small half-pyramid with bulkhead.
Crowds: Lots of cool locals, lots of little kids who talk trash and sit on the ramps though.
Specials: Channel gap, whoop-de-doo on huge pyramid, roll-ins
Directions: From HWY 16, take the Port Orchard/Tremont St. exit. Go east, it'll be about 3 miles. You have to pass by the shopping center first, so be patient. Take a left on Jackson Ave (it'll be a stoplight), then take your first left onto Marbeth. You'll enter the South Kitsap Community park. The park is at the end of the road.
