Yes I know I need to update this page, but I just really haven't had the time to.On top of that no one has sent me any locations to put here,I did find some myself and I'll post it here soon.So the bottom line is,I'm still waiting for YOU to send Me your favorite ride spot.Just tell me a little about the type of riding, where it is,how's the launch access,is it free?Is there gas nearby or food? And anything else you can think of....Thanks..

Finding a place to launch in the Bronx is not easy.Finding a place to launch for free is near impossible and if you do you will wait at least an hour to get in the water.Backing up with a trailer is a skill few people have yet to master and there is always something interesting happening on the ramp.If my Sea Doo is not running I go down to the marina anyway just to watch people sink their Skis and sometimes even their cars!Always remember to check your plugs!I launch out of Evers Marina in Pelham Bay.The fee is ten bucks a shot or 130 for the season and they even give you a place to park your car! What a bargain right? As I said before the choices are few and as long as you get out before 11:00 you should have no problems.Okay that was the hard part.Or will deciding where to go be the hard part.If you want to head to Manhattan you should have a few other PWC with you.You will encounter all types of different water conditions and some pretty big boats!Riding up to the Statue of Liberty on a 9 foot craft has got to be one of the best rides I have ever been on.I will get some more pics this year.So when are you coming?

Riding in the Hudson river is a different ride.I launch from a park called George's Island. This is close to the starting point for the Hudson River Poker Run.If your interesred in the Poker Run go to the Message Board and read the post(thanks Chuckie).Hope to see you all there! There are several marina's around here and they would be a better choice to launch at if you are planning to camp out.No overnight parking at George's island. The park has restrooms, payphones and plenty of picnic tables.Gas on the road is nearby and on the river is not too hard to find either. There is a Sea Doo dealer (Zoellers Marine)nearby about 1 mile down the road. The launch fee here is $15 for non Westchester County residents and $10 for residents. The Hudson is a cool ride because no matter you go the conditions are different. It could be real rough and then the river turns and it smooths out suddenly. The water in midsummer gets pretty warm and there are a few places to stop on the shore. One is called Sandy beach and is just north of Haverstraw(I think}.There are always other PWC and boats there so you should see it.
