The 360 flip combines two tricks, the kickflip and the 360 shove-it. To do a 360 flip, you should position your front foot like you would for a kickflip, with your toe slid back toward the heel-edge of the board. Your back foot should be positioned with your toe on the opposite corner of the board, namely the toe-edge of the tail.
Pop like an ollie, but sweep your back foot hard. If you sweep it hard enough your front foot (if position right) doesn't really do anything. Just lightly kick out (like a kickflip) w/ your front foot. Cause sometimes when I kick to hard it does a double flip. I think your back foot does most of the work in this trick. It took me awhile to learn this trick but learning 360 shove its before you do this trick makes it alot easier.
