We are trying to provide as complete a listing as possible of rental options in most of the major ski areas in the United States. Since this site is still in the early development phase, you may find only a few listing or none at all for some ski areas. We are sorry about that. We promise that we are listing rental properties as quickly as we can. We have over 400 ski areas listed here. The best way to use this site is to choose the state (from the list below) where your ski area is located. You will be presented with a list of ski areas in that state. If you just want to scan ski areas in the various states, you can start with Alabama and follow the listings until you reach Wyoming. The ski areas are divided into four categories: World Class, One of the Best, Great Family Area, and Local Favorite. The "local favorite" areas are those that have five or fewer lifts and/or few available rentals. If you are interested in one of those areas, we suggest you contact the ski area directly using the information provided on the listings by state page. For the other three categories of ski areas, a separate link is available describing the ski area and giving a listing of rentals by owner; management companies; hotels, motels, lodges, etc.; and bed and breakfasts. Descriptions of the ski areas include summit elevation, vertical drop, base elevation, average snowfall, skiable acreage, snowmaking, number of lifts, uphill capacity, types of lifts, terrain, and other information such as snowboarding, bed base, child care, and ticket prices. You will also find ski area contact information such as the address, phone numbers, and fax numbers. There are links to the resort webpage, trail maps, and snow cameras (where available). Our goal is to have a basic listing for as many private owners; management companies; hotels, motels, lodges; bed and breakfasts, and other rental properties as possible in order to give skiers the best possible selection. We encourage you to look over this website and decide if you think we have something to offer you. As far as we know, this is the only website on the internet devoted exclusively to American SKI lodging rentals. Select the state where your ski rental is located from the list above. Then go to the appropriate ski area and see what accommodations are listed. Decide if you think having your property listed here will bring you more guests. If you would like a FREE listing, please fill out the the FREE Listing Form. We will include your new listing as soon as possible. Your FREE listing will remain as it is for as long as this website exists (hopefully a long time). Our FREE listings include the lodging location, lodging type (condo, home, townhouse, chalet, etc.), the number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, sleeping capacity, and phone number (sorry, no email addresses). As part of our service, major ski area webpages are listed with the TOP 10 search engines as well as many other ski-related websites on the internet. We hope you will complete the FREE listing. There are no strings attached to this offer. You will not get a bunch of junk email from us. Once you have completed the FREE listing form, you can have us enhance your listing by completing the Enhanced Listing Form. This is an optional feature which allows you to include more information about your property. The cost for enhancing your listing is just $24 per year. Think of it this way; for the price of a lunch on the mountain or half a lift ticket, you can advertise your rental with an enhanced listing for a full year. This charge covers the time involved in preparing and uploading enhanced listings. Enhanced listing are what keep this website on the internet. An enhanced listing allows you to receive email requests directly; link to an existing webpage; expand your listing with up to 500 words of description (which you write yourself, not a "cookie cutter" description), amenities, seasonal rates and much more.
