MOD players:
There are many MOD players out there but I will only put up my personal favorites. I have three excellent players in this page. I hope to have more players in the future.
MOD 4 WIN
This is one of the best MOD players for Windows 3.x and 95 (the 32-bit version should be out in a couple of months). It uses a lot of CPU time(on slower machines), but it more than makes up for that by giving you excellent playback.
MOD 4 WIN 2.30: this is the latest installment of MOD 4 WIN.

and no sample music.
MOD 4 WIN 2.20: an older version of MOD 4 WIN that cannot play the .XM format. This version has a slightly faster player routine that version 2.30.
Definetly the BEST MOD player out there for DOS, giving great playback for many formats including MOD, S3M, XM, ULT, MTM, STM, etc...
Cubic Player 1.6: this is the latest version of this player, without the v 1.7 patch which fixes bugs on some computers.
This player is a good player for the MAC (yes MAC users you are not forgotten in this page), it supports .MOD .S3M .XM and other formats. I tested this player some time ago and it had some problems handling .XM files, they played very scratchy and I couldn't hear anything. Other than that the playback of S3M's and MOD's was excellent.
