It started at Angelfire then moved across to Geocities and restarted from there. Deciding on a name for my website wasn't easy. I didn't want to be just another 'Someone's Homepage'. I have always loved dolphins, have lots of dolphin knick-knacks and my favourite was a dolphin made of crystal. It was so pretty and I decided on the name Kate's Crystal Dolphin. Actually, I originally spelled 'crystal' with two l's, because I thought it looked better (even though I know it was spelled incorrectly) but decided it looked naff** (see note below) so it's back to one. (That's why some other sites have it spelled 'crystall') This site has grown and changed over the years. Pages have come and gone and all were important to me at one time. 2007 marks the tenth year of Kate's Crystal Dolphin! Yay! **naff - adj. Chiefly British Slang meaning Unstylish, clichéd, or outmoded. So now you know what I'm talking about hee hee!! Thanks to Dictionary.com for the definition. I also decided that it was time for a change in the way this site looked. I played with a few graphics programs and came up with what it is today!
