My science interests include paleontology, geology, science illiteracy, genomics, botany, and herpetology.

In particular, I enjoy reading the latest developments in hominid discoveries and other paleontological aspects of evolution. I'm also fond of identifying native forbs (i.e., non-woody plants) and herps (scaly crawly things).
