In Loving memory...............
I had the honor to meet Dr.Payne, when I went to Oklahoma on vacation one Summer. Sonny Nevaquaya introduced us. I thought I was in flute heaven, when I walked in his house.There were flutes everywhere. Flutes hanging on the walls, flutes in drawers, flutes on tables. What a great flute collection!! Richard W.Payne has a book called "The Native American Plains Flute". The book has photos and information about his flute collection.
