We have some new graphics today! There are 3 new ones on one of the Animated Dolphin Pictures pages and 11 on one of the regular Dolphin Pictures pages. I hope you like them!
It's been a while since we had any big changes, but we have one today. It's a new story, or at least part of a very large one! Part Three of Change Of Tide is now completed. Hope you enjoy it!
A couple of changes today to tell you about.
First, I've added a Poster Store to Dolphin Tales. Here I can feature beautiful posters which anyone can buy for their own walls from allwall.com. They're mostly of Dolphins but there are also some Whale and Shark ones that I've thrown in for goof measure. They're gorgeous!
I've also been invited to join a new webring called Dolphin Lovers. Check it out on the WebRings page. If you like it, think about joining.
It's been a long time since I've made any changes. Work and real life have been taking up a lot more of time, leaving me with fewer changes to code. We've added a new link to the "Dolphin Whale & Shark Gift Store" on the Main Page. This place is just FULL of great things for any Cetacean lover! I know I could spend my entire pay-cheque there. Hope you find something you like!
Hey there! Long time no changes. I've been spending all my time working on the Webbrawls! I have a new WebBrawls Spirit Page, but I"m not sure how long it will still be here since I'm dropping out of the WebBrawls at the end of this week.
There's a new story on the Stories Page!! Check it out! It's short, but it's one to make you think!
1) There are two new link pictures on the Main Page to direct you to the Stories and the Question Essays. Aren't they cute!?
2) You can now Announce this website to your friends quickly and easily. There's a new link on the Main Page to do it.
3) Dolphin Tales now has Internet Postcards!. If you'd like to Send or Receive a FREE Dolphin Postcard, simply follow the link and have Fun!
1) We have a new Associate link on the Associates Page.
2) I've taken the backgrounds off the Lines and Borders page and given them a page of their own.
3) 3 new pictures on the Miscellaneous Picture page; 25 on Page 4 and 15 on Page 5 of the Dolphin Picture pages; 2 lines and 3 borders on the Lines and Borders Page; and 17 new backgrounds on the Backgrounds page.
4) We've joined two new Webrings! At the time I'm writing this they are awaiting final approval, but you can take a look on the WebRing Index Page.

3) 8 new pictures on Page 3 of the Dolphin Picture pages, and 1 new animated picture on Page 3 of the Animated Dolphin Pictures pages (Both part of the Dolphin Graphics Pages.
There are two new Quotable Quotes on the Quotes Page.
1)I've had to remove one of the webrings from the Webring Index page. Unfortunately the ringmaster of the "Whales 4 U WebRing" was unable to continue to manage the ring and so it has been removed. I invite any member of that ring who finds there way here to join the Dolphin Awareness Webring if they like. Think of it as a serogate home. :)
2) There are 29 new graphics among the Graphics pages. Hope you like them.
3) I've restructed the animated dolphin pictures and regular dolphin pictures pages. It was getting to be too many pictures on a single page so I've broken them up into 2 or 3 pages respectively.
The page has a new introductory page. This is mainly so we can join the Geocities Banner Exchange program without the need to add the Geoguide to the top of the main page. The intro page simply links you to the old main page. All the "Dolphin Tales" links found on the subpages of this site still point to the main Dolphin Tales page, not the intro page for convenience. If you have links to this page, you may wish to update them to point to http://geocities.datacellar.net/RainForest/Vines/9073/index2.html instead of http://geocities.datacellar.net/RainForest/Vines/9073/. Let me know what you think of the graphic.
I've added another thought provoking short essay to my Questions page. It's title is "Performers or Prisoners?".

1) The Graphics Page now has an entirely new look! I've separated the one page we had before into five category pages. Hopefully this will make things easier to find and less time to load. The dolphin graphics page now only has thumbnail pictures so they're load faster and each pic has an option to click on it to see it full size.
2) The Guestbook was getting too large with everyone's great comments so I've moved them into a Part 2 Guestbook and started with a new one. There's a link at the bottom of the new Guestbook to read the old entries for anyone who still wishes to. :)
1) Well, we've dropped out of the Mystical Carvern and are back in Oceans2 for the Webbrawls. We were up against some tough competition and we were in last place this week. Hopefully we can rally and do well this week to regain our lost ground! Hang in there, and Vote for Me if you can!
2) I've also been working on improving the layout of the graphics page and hope to have the improved version up this afternoon.
1) Dolphin Tales is now the proud home of our own WebRing - The Dolphin Awareness WebRing. Please feel free to take a look and see if it's right for you! You can also explore the ring through the Web Rings Page at a future date. Right now this site is the only one in the ring (because it's a new ring of course) so it may be pointless to do that now. Enjoy!
2) I've also added a new link to the links page to the Shamu WebCam! I know, I know, it's a whale, but he's still cute and as far as webcams go, this one is pretty good quality. There's two views; one under water, the other above.

Lots of new stuff today!
1) I've archived the 1998 news to a new page. If you'd like to read through last year's happenings, simply Click Here. I did this because this page was starting to get a little long, and annual divisions seemed like a good idea.
2) I checked my standings in the Web Brawls today also. Thanks to all my supporters I've DONE IT! I won in Ocean1 this week with a perfect score of 60. Thank you everyone who helped me to achieve this! Your kind encouragement is greatly appreciated!
3) For those who visit here for the stories, I should have a few new ones up soon. They're actually ones I wrote some time ago, but were housed on another site. That site is regretably closing down so I'll be moving some of those stories here.
4) I updated the copyrights on various pages to indicate the new year.
5) There are three new fish icons on the graphics page.
6) I've also added a new quote or two to the Quotes Page.
